De-Icing Salt supplies website is now live!

Our new website www.saltmerchant.co.uk is now live, and our de-icing products are now available to order online.

We are able to distribute brown & white de-icing salt in 25kg bags, bulk bags and loose loads. We are have a history of being able to supply our customers with de-icing salt even when demand is high and salt is in short supply.

We can offer singular 25kg bags up to 39 bags or in pallets of 40 (tail lift offload) and 49 (forklift offload required).

Our brown rock salt is pink/brown in colour and provides excellent traction due to its large particles and being more visible than white salt it gives you the confidence that areas have been treated. Brown salt is extracted from a mine in Cheshire and conforms to BS3247 and is the same salt used by your local council. Ideal for gritting paths, driveways, car parks, and is the econimical choice for treating large areas.

Our white salt conforms to BS3247 : 1991, which is the same product that the Highways Agency use on all major public roads. White salt is perfect for patios, pathways and playgrounds as it visually more attractive and has less chance of carrying inside onto carpets.
